Forgotten photos....

T-G-I-freaking-F!!!! I don't know about you, but this week has completely exhausted me. I haven't been sleeping all that well, and my husband and I have also been painting/redoing our bedroom. I am ready to put a fork in this week for sure.

I was going through some photos, and realized I never posted these from our last day at Disney. For some reason, they are my favorites! Probably because they are of my two favorite people. I hope you enjoy your weekend. I am looking forward to a night out tonight with friends and none of our kids tonight. I just love the babies, but I also enjoy eating in peace.

^^ Sucking her thumb with her hand in her shirt....signs of exhaustion! ^^

^^ 2 minutes into putting on Daniel Tiger, she was OUT for the entire plane ride home.^^

Disney Vacay.... Part THREE

 ^^ We found Gabe's retirement calling! ^^

^^ We have had a lot of conversations lately with Amara putting her head down. It has become her way of checking out of the moment, and not doing what was asked of her. Gabe had asked her for a kiss here, her head went down, so he went in for one anyways ;) ^^

^^ If there is an arcade around....my husband will find it! ^^

 ^^ Yummy Sangria ^^

^^ We went to my favorite little pizza place at the Boardwalk hotel ^^

^^ Cheering for the street performer! ^^

Disney Vacay...Part TWO!

We took a ferry ride to a late character breakfast. I love a good buffet ;) Amara did so well with meeting the characters. I was worried that her obsession would turn to fear when she met them face to face, but she was a champ who high-fived and hugged like it was her day job.....which it kind of is.

 ^^ "Gocky!!!" aka Goofy! ^^

^^ She was pretty terrified of Wreck is Ralph ^^

^^ Amara sure does love her Grandma ^^

^^ Highly recommend the Disney Junior Live show. It really was the most memorable moment of the trip for me. It was that moment where Amara really connected to something that she was familiar with. I had happy tears flowing just from watching her be so. freaking. happy! ^^

^^ Gabe and I were able to get out for a few hours, thanks to Gabe's amazing mother! We came back to the hotel to find Amara laying across my mother - in - law's back. She is a good woman haha. Amara slept the entire cab ride back to our hotel. I sure do miss those days of a baby sleeping anywhere! ^^

Disney Vacation... Part ONE

I just want to start today's post by taking a moment to remember those families who are missing their loved ones today. You and your families will always be thought of and prayed for by our little family. I am so grateful for the men and women who worked and served to help NYC ( and the rest of the nation) recover from such a horrific day! God Bless you all...from the bottom of my little heart!!

We just got back from our Disney vacay, and I must say that it is extremely bittersweet. I don't miss sweating to death (while holding a sticky toddler) or the long lines, but Disney is just "magical"....truly!
We were so blessed to tag along on Gabe's "business trip". We were able to enjoy some time with friends and family while we were there! There is nothing like hopping on a plane to go to a different state, and seeing some sweet friends at the airport who are taking the same flight.....especially when you are a really slightly anxious flyer :) Amara did GREAT though. I couldn't have asked for a more well behaved child. Suckers, Ipad and short flight....thank you, Lord!

Disney has this Magical Express service that takes your bags from baggage claim straight to the hotel. Dreamy right? Considering that I had a toddler in tow, a stroller that was sent to baggage claim that I was NOT going to, and a huge diaper bag full of toys she played with for all of two seconds each needed on the plane. Well, apparently, if it rains....everything shuts down at the airport. Therefore, my 3 hour wait time for the delivery of my bags turned into a 10 hour wait for our bags. Extremely frustrating  not being able to put jammies on Amara or comb our hair out after a shower or simply go to bed before 2 am. My husband is a better man than me. He was so patient and nice to those sweet Disney workers! I let him handle all of the 4-5 calls we made to them wondering when we would receive our bags.

When we arrived at our hotel, we got to see more friendly/family- like faces. Amara was still running on some sort of energy. She hadn't napped a bit, but you know how it is when you get to a vacation destination. You get your second wind for sure! We had little time to just relax! We went straight to meet up with my mother - in - law ( who was also there for work) for dinner at Magic Kingdom. We hung out until it was time to watch daddy sing.

The band performed in front of the Disney castle, and it was pretty amazing to watch. I had the best seat in the house, which was watching that little toddler of ours dance and clap her little heart out while wearing her Minnie mouse ears that lit up. Sigh! Our sweet friend, Tony, held Amara the majority of the show. I am so grateful for that man. He will sweat and dance with Amara until the very end. His poor arms!! It is so nice to get to watch Gabe perform and not be holding her the entire time though.

Here are some of our pictures from that day....mostly blurry, night-time Iphone photos...sorry:

^^ taking it alllllll in... ^^

 ^^ sweet friends ^^

^^ I put her on the bed to go to the restroom, and came back to unwrapped chocolates ^^

 ^^ Monorail rider! ^^

^^ Amara selfie....1 of 12 of the exact same picture. You can't leave her alone with your phone for too long or this is what you get! ^^

 ^^ Watching daddy! ^^

 ^^ Tony.....Amara's favorite dance partner! ^^

^^ My favorite part of the show right now....the drum sequence. ^^

^^ The perfect ending to ANY kind of crazy day! ^^

Florida ( Pt. 3) ... the end!

Let's get something straight....One Broken Egg in Panama City has THE. ABSOLUTE. BEST breakfast I have ever had. The beignets were ridiculous, and then I ordered an appetizer with chorizo and cream cheese....what!?! Delish...serioulsy! I think  know we freaked our waiter out with how much we were raving.

One of the best things about the trip was that the end of our vacation overlapped with the beginning of my bestie's! We met Lori and Heath in Rosemary Beach ( absolutely BEAUTIFUL), and walked around where they were staying and shopped a little.

I couldn't get enough of the architecture! All of the small details on these homes were stunning!
Then, we started to all question the line of work we are in ;) This mom gig won't pay for a second home like this... sigh.

Look at that happiness!!!

It felt like a little european town with these alleys, lanterns, and cobblestone walkways.... I just loved it so much!

Later, we went to dinner at a local hot spot called The Red Bar. It seems to be a must try for everyone in town. You could hardly find parking around it, and it was jumpin jumpin. I had some out of this world manicotti and a margarita. It was well worth the wait.

Talk about someone who just "gets you" ( the best that they can) and allows you to be vulnerable and spill your guts....that is this beautiful lady! I appreciate you, Lori! I am so glad that are close enough to want to hang out on our vacations! haha.

Salt of the Earth people.....and superb Amara lovers!
